The session was recorded during the very first days of 2014 in a tiny room filled with cigarette smoke and lukewarm vodka drinks and while sometimes chaotic, the result is surprisingly precise; there is an underlining mood that is present throughout the entire recording which is somewhat similar to the strange mix of excitement and melancholia that a new year’s celebration most often holds; mournful of endings, while celebratory of new beginnings.Contour was, or is, Anton Rothstein, DX, Julia Nowak, Frederikke Hoffmeier, Loke Rahbek & Elias Bender Rønnenfelt
