Tense - No Cure LP

Hailing from Berlin, Germany "TENSE" keep the European Post-Punk flag flying high. This is very forward thinking music. Extremely fast for this style of music. At times they remind me of Boston's groundbreaking band "The Proletariat". They shoot shards of guitar & galloping bass lines all through out this 12 song work out. Only the 4 minute "Rumors" gets close to New Wave territory. Apparently this band was called "Pigeon" before settling on TENSE because there's a ton of releases on their Bandcamp page. Haven't checked them out but I'll get around to it. This is a really great example of what's going on across the pond in the Euro Post-Punk scene. I'll never get enough of this funky, noise damage!
