Supersonic had this to say:2009 was a pretty special year for us at Supersonic as not only did we manage to convince horror legends Goblin to headline the festival but we also hosted Corrupted and Thorr's Hammer's first UK shows. Enormous. But often at festivals it's the smaller, or let's say 'less enormous' acts that stick in your mind. IRON LUNG's pounding set (and on stage comedy banter) was without a doubt one of the highlights of the weekend. IRON LUNG just had to be next in our series of Supersonic live releases.Martin Ken had this to say in 2009:"I am not sure what it is that I just saw. It was either a couple of guys losing their minds in front of us or the most aggressive form of 'good times' a band could have. I feel like I just got kicked in the throat...by my brother. I mean I love him but why'd he kick me? I can't breathe. Where is the bathroom? I feel sick, Holy shit, dude, that was insane. I wish the drummer didn't talk so much. Or maybe he should only talk and not play drums. I don't know. Iron Lung is fucking crazy. I loved it. Where is it?
