Rolltreppe - Es geht Bergab MLP

Rolltreppe! After nearly four years, this release follows up on their debut tape (subsequently released on a 12’’ by bachelorrecords ).
The sound of the five new tracks has evolved and become somewhat warmer, with more fx, yet still retains a distinct cold ‘post-punky’ vibe. Rolltreppe conveys the sense that they have moved past the critical first five years of every band, emerging as a mature musical quartet that clearly knows what they want from their creativeness. ‘Es Geht Bergab’ cleverly blends 80s sound aesthetics with clear and elegant references to Austrian (post-)punk bands, some of whose members are or have been part of.
