Brak - Friction LP

"For Psychic Liberation, the Berlin based trio BRAK unfurls their debut LP, “Friction”. After a succinct but distinct array of cassette releases and European tours, BRAK produces their most concentrated sonic statement yet for the vinyl record format. BRAK's singular take on the psychedelically informed ethos of noise-rock enters the canon with dirgey power-blasts of delayed vocals, percussive angularity, and anxious spurts of scraping strings and feedback. The sonic cacophony that is conjured from the band is the underpinning of narratives with emotive tensions where glimpses into pressurized neurosis envelop “Friction”.
