Bad Breeding – Blood Manifest E.P.

Bad Breeding returns with a four-track 7” recorded over a weekend at The Stationhouse in Leeds. "Blood Manifest" sees Bad Breeding at its most feral and urgent. It’s one and a half minutes of pure intensity that never lets up. Short, sharp and impassioned. It moves swiftly into "Weapon of Tradition” which keeps the pace but with a twist of Icons of Filth and more raging guitar work, including a simple hook that adds to the dense texture of sound. The final cut on the side "Exactly as They Wanted You” is a slower paced stomper but the anger and passion remain on high alert. On the other side, "Competition for Existence" sees the band move into a dirge that is desperate and sludgy.
