Elizabeth Vogler - AU NOM DEUS ASOS
It’s been some time since I saw a video of Elizabeth playing in a church for the first time and immediately fell in love with her music.
I asked her if I could release this session on cassette. She decided to go back to Lescun church some months later to record six tracks there for this special release. Alongside the beautiful donkeys - playing on the harmonium and singing in her unique voice, style and different dialects. Lescun is in the very south of France not far from the spanish border, by the way. Thanks to Elizabeth for joining this project and to all the people who made it happen. I hope it will be released on vinyl someday, so we can admire the photos by Albane Barraus in colour and full size and beauty.
